How we do it: Introducing the 5G Labs
Capgemini’s 5G Labs are Centers of Excellence dedicated to new technology solutions developed for Intelligent Industry and Smart Cities.
The 5G Labs federate an ecosystem of partners (both telecom and technology driven) and help build end-to-end solutions for industries. This puts at the disposal of our clients a platform to accelerate the adoption of 5G technology, develop new use cases, and build new strategic partnerships. The Labs provide access to multidisciplinary experts and Capgemini’s global network of innovation capabilities (Applied Innovation Exchange –AIE) and accelerate future business growth through the development of meaningful use cases on advanced platforms in collaboration with our partner ecosystem.
We have already developed more than 25 use cases at the end of 2020 within the four key areas Smart Factory, Smart Utilities, Smart City, and Smart Retail. You can find the most recent ones in more detail here:
